  1. Kia Ora Araura,

My name is Rachel and I am working with Clare, Cia and Megan on the Summer Learning Journey programme. It's awesome to see that you have already completed so many activities for the programme.

I really enjoyed reading this particular post as I have seen people playing Poi Rakau before but I never knew that you had to catch the poi by the rope while it was still spinning. Have you ever tried playing Poi Rakau before? Is it hard to play?

I hope that you and your family have a wonderful holiday season and have lots of time to play games and hang out together. Our family is going to the beach tomorrow for a few hours to play in the waves (if the weather is nice). Do you ever go to the beach with your family?

Hope that you'll continue to learn, create and share your learning on your blog site with us over the summer. I'm already looking forward to reading your next post!

Meri Kirihimete to you and your family,

    Rachel :)
