Activity 1: Environmental Day - Beat Plastic Pollution-Summer Learning Journey-Week 4-Day 5

What could you and your family do to protect the planet?
On your blog tell us three things that you could do to help save the planet.

So me and my family have came up with 3 ways to save the planet. I will list them down below

  1. Make all cars electric (Because gas creates smog/ Gas pollution)
  2. Shower instead of taking baths.
  3. Use recycled paper

    Hi Araura,
    Well done on finishing this activity. Your ideas on how to help the planet are great. I like all of the ideas because if all of the cars are electric we won't have as much air pollution, if we have a shower instead of a bath we would save water and if we recycle paper we would be saving materials. Keep up the excellent work.

    Hi Araura,

    It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team reading your blog from my home in Canada.

    You've given some thought to ways to reduce our impact on the earth, good for you! I think you have 3 good ideas as to how we can help reduce the amount of energy we use and, therefore, the amount of waste we create. I really like your suggestion of using recycled paper products!

    We buy recycled paper products for our home as often as we can. I'm glad to know that we're trying to have fewer trees cut down for the purpose of making paper! Of course, it's best if we just try to reduce what we use, period, isn't it?

    I'm so glad that you've chosen to participate in this Summer Learning Journey program this summer. Good for you!! I hope you're enjoying learning about the world around us and about how we can live carefully on the earth.

    And I hope you've had a really nice summer break!!!
