Activity 3: Faded Glory/Summer Learning Journey week 2 day 5
In the East Coast of Australia is the world largest coral reef. Sadly it is made out of 2900 reefs. Some people believe it is millions of years old which I would be the same. Thankfully the Australian Government is working on how to protect the reef.They have to pay 20 million dollars a year.That is why we have help found raise so they don't have to pay this match.

ReplyDeleteIt's Toe'umu. I really like your ideas. My favourite idea is to start a lemonade stand, because I would enjoy making the lemonade. Would you help fund raise? This reminds me of when I was watching Nemo since there home is in the reef. Maybe next time you could add more pictures.

This reminded me of when i did this activity. It was fun were the any challenges? How did you accomplish it?

ReplyDeleteYou have come up with some good ideas to fundraise, I can definitely see these ideas working well in your local communities! If you were thinking about fundraising on a bigger scale (lie something that is nation wide or worldwide, what would you do to raise money?
Perhaps next time you could talk a bit about how you would make your ideas happen. Think about how you would get the attention of your community...
I think I'd plan a game day with fun games and activities all about the Great Barrier Reef. You'd have to pay for admission and tickets to play the games. There'd also be food and stages for entertainment. All the proceeds would go towards preserving the Great Barrier Reef!

I would make a GoFund Me page or something that can reach people in other places in the world as I think that would be the most efficient way of raising money. Keep up the good work.
