Forest Life!

I would not like to visit the Tane Mahuta Tree/Trees because it is a long way away and you wont be able to touch the tree on look at it. So i do not see the point off going all the way there to look at a tree when you can look at it on the internet.

Thanks for reading my opinion on why i wouldn't want to go to the Tane Mahuta Tree!

Blog you later!

  1. Hey Araura,

It's Toe'umu. I like how you said that you can look at it on the Internet instead of in person. This reminds me of when I was studying in class of how we can stop spreading the kauri dieback dieseas. Maybe next time you could say more reasons of why you don't wanna visit the big kauri trees.

    Blog you later,

  2. Talofa Araura,

You have given a clear view point and some reasons as to why you would not want to visit Tāne Mahuta. You are right, we wouldn't be able to touch Tāne Mahuta, but we would definitely be able to look, you can't miss it either, it's insanely tall!

It may be far away and you may be able to see it on the internet, but you'd only be able to truly see its beauty and size in person don't you think? It's like watching slime videos on the internet, you get satisfied watching people play with it and make it, but you truly get to enjoy it when you make your own..

One day I would like to visit Tāne Mahuta so I can see the mighty tree up close. They grow to be so tall and magnificent I’d love to see it in person as pictures and videos wouldn’t do it justice for me.

You are working so hard on the Summer Learning Journey Araura, ka pai.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.

  3. Hi Araura,
Well done on finishing this activity. I like how you gave valid reasons as to why you wouldn't want to visit Tane Mahuta. I would still like to visit it though because it would be a new and interesting experience. Keep up the good work.
