Weird and Wonder full-Summer Learning Journey-Week 1-Day 2
Hi Bloggers today i have completed a question from the summer learning site, I really enjoyed working this out because it felt like i was in class again.

Happy New Year! I hope you are having the most incredible summer and have found time, when you are not doing the SLJ, to get out and enjoy the sun. I have been incredibly impressed at the number of activities you have completed in the last few weeks. According to my calculations, you have completed 38 activities. That is fantastic, Araura. I am so proud of you. You go girl!
I love that you have completed three different calculations to demonstrate ways you could answer this math equation. You're absolutely right, the cactus would need 1095 mls of water in a year to survive. It really isn't very much, is it? I did a bit of research myself, and due to the African desert often having one downpour of rain every few weeks, a cactus soaks up the water and stores it until the next downpour. This means it can feed itself the 3ml of water every day. What an intelligent plant that is.

I think you did a great job using your time tables skills to work out how much water a cactus would need in a year if it could survive on 3mls a day. How much water do you think you could limit yourself to per day? Keep up the good work.
