Would you like to be a DOC ranger and live with the animals on Great Barrier Island?
Pros
- yes because I get to experience new things
- You can play and have fun with the animals.
- Also you will get to learn more about animals than others.
Cons
- No because they can hurt you.
- you can forget about some animals because there is so many and you might forget to feed it.
- It will take time away from spending time with your family.
I would not like to be a Doc Ranger because i will take time away from me seeing my family.

ReplyDeleteYou have expressed why you wouldn't want to be DOC Ranger and included some fair pros and cons, ka pai. It would be very hard for me to be away from my family too, I'd miss them too much to live far away, I totally understand how you feel.
Perhaps next time you could include some background information about what DOC Rangers responsibilities are. What kinds of tasks do you think they do everyday on the job?
Personally, I wouldn't want to be a DOC Ranger because it just isn't my passion in life. This doesn't mean I don't care for the survival and conservation of animals, because I can always help in lots of different ways like donating. Can you think of a different way you could help?

ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing this activity. I think you have given fair reasons as to why you wouldn't want to be a DOC ranger. I also think it would be a lonely job as you might be isolated with no one else to talk to and you would be away from your family and friends. Keep up the good work.
