  1. Hi there, my name is Luseane as you know.

I really enjoyed reading your post. I love the way you worked it out!

    Was it hard?

This reminded me of when i did this activity on my blog it was really hard for me to work it out. Did have any challenges/ fails that were fixed?

Maybe next time you could explain your strategy you used.

    Yours,
    Luseane

  2. Talofa Araura,

I can see that you've used multiplication to try and solve the problem, good thinking! Remember that the task asks you to work out how many adults and children it would take to lift and transport the 500kg squid. Please edit your post to include how you got your second answer. I will be happy to award you full points for this activity once you have done this. :)

Just a note; the squid is actually 500kg, I don't think it'd take many people at all to carry a 500g squid...

It would definitely be quite a task to lift and transport that giant squid! If I had the chance to help out I would, I've always been very curious about creatures found in the deep sea, so I won't let the smell or texture put me off.. If you were offered the chance to help would you?

I look forward to reading your edited post.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.

  3. Hi Araura,
Well done on finishing this activity. You did a great job solving this math problem. I would imagine that it would be pretty hard carrying a squid as they are very slimy. Hopefully the people carrying it will manage to get it to it's destination without dropping it! Keep up the excellent work.
