The actor in this clip is called Charlie Chaplin - He was very famous in his time and an equivalent to a big hollywood star! He would get great joy out of making people happy and smile after the War when many people were feeling very sad about the loss of a loved one.
Do you think he was really in the cage with a real lion or do you think they tricked you into thinking that he was in the movie? He created the famous quote - A day without laughter is a day wasted. It's a favourite of mine. he also wrote - We think too much and feel too little. Some very interesting quote there to think about.
