  1. Good Morning to you Araura.

Its great to read your personal thoughts about this poem. It is sad I agree with you. Around the time of Anzac we learn alot more about the men who died to save our country. Do you remember learning about this at school from your teachers?
I think to add more connection and grab your reader's attention to read your feedback on this task you can add more detail and some more information with what poem you are sharing about.

Keep up the fabulous blogging in 2018 and I can't wait to read more of your work you do.

  2. Hey Araura,

Its me Toeumu. I like how you feel about this poem.I agree that it is sad that they died to save or country. Do you have anymore reasons about how you felt about this poem? This poem reminds me of when I did this post.
Maybe next time you could say more reason off how you felt about the poem.

    Blog you later

  3. Hey Araura,

I take it that you like the poem since you have mentioned that it is special, would I be right? You have expressed your sadness about the sacrifice soldiers and others made for our country but had you any other feelings about it? Perhaps next time you could add an image that suits the mood of the poem and the poem itself, so readers know what you are responding to.

I felt sad but also comforted when I read the poem because although they all died horrible deaths I thought about how they were at peace resting and no longer in pain. I am so glad that we have ANZAC day to honour those who fought for our freedom. Do you remember what special item we wear on ANZAC day?

Another lovely post, keep up the good work!

    Toe feiloa’i fo’i,

  4. Hey Araura,

It is awesome to see you connecting with the Flander's poem and understanding what the poem is talking about. I really like how you have recognised that the soldiers sacrificed their life for our country. Do you think, as a country, we honour the soldiers who fought in the war? If so, can you tell me how we might celebrate their courage and bravery?

I feel proud of our ancestors for fighting to protect the world and representing our country. Reading this poem has prompted feelings of guilt as I should be honouring their sacrifice more than I am. On April the 25th I will be getting up at dawn to celebrate their bravery with more more awareness.

Thank you for sharing your awesome opinion. I am looking forward to seeing more of your posts.

    Have an amazing day,
    Megan
