ReplyDeleteIt's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team reading your blog from my home in Canada. Isn't it amazing that we can both be participating in this program even though we live on opposite sides of the planet?
I think you've come up with some good questions for Dame Moncrieff! She's certainly a very creative and interesting person, isn't she? Have you ever been to the WOW event? I know someone who goes every year and it's her favourite show. She just can't believe how beautiful the outfits are, especially given that they're made from what we would consider 'rubbish'.
I like to sew but I can't imagine creating a dress made out of newspaper, or tin cans or ... It takes a special kind of brilliance to come up with ideas like Dame Moncrieff.
Perhaps one day you actually will get to meet her and ask her your questions.
Meanwhile, I hope you're enjoying these activities and also getting some time outside, having fun.
