  1. Hi there, my name is Luseane as you may know. I was really interested in everything you chose. This reminded me of when i myself did this activity. Just to be helpful maybe next time you could add why you chose them, only if you want. If you would like, my blog is https://wpsluseanem.blogspot.com/

  2. Hi Araura,
Well done on finishing this activity. I think that the list of vegetables, fruits and herbs that you would plant in your garden is great. I would also have grapes because I love them. Also, good choice with the strawberries. They are another one of my favorite fruits. Keep up the good work.

  3. Hi Araura,

It's Leslie here, reading your blog from wintry Canada where our gardens are under 2 feet of snow. Can you picture that? I might be hard to imagine being in such a cold place when you're in the middle of your summer...

I love the list of vegetables and fruits you've suggested you'd like to grow in your garden. Of course, not all of those you've listed would grown in New Zealand - I don't think you have the climate to grow bananas, but I could be wrong..

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have all of our favourite fruits and veggies growing in our own neighbourhoods all year? I'd love that!!! In Canada our growing season is from May/early June to August/early September - fairly short. So we can't even imagine growing things like oranges or lemons, as you can in Auckland.

Do you have your own garden?

My gardens just contain flowers and bushes at the moment but my husband is keen that we start a veggie garden this summer. We'll give it a go!

Meanwhile, I hope you're having a super summer and I'll continue to enjoy reading your blog. Keep up your good work!!

    Cheers,

    Leslie
