  2. Hi Araura,
Well done on finishing this activity. I also thought that putting cameras into cages was a good idea. Hopefully ideas like this can help us become predator free by 2050. It seems like a achievable goal. Keep up the good work.

  3. Hi Araura,

It's Leslie here, reading your blog from my home in Canada. It's very wintry here today so I enjoyed seeing the Cacophony project video and looking at a lovely, summer environment!!

I too thought the ideas that this project uses for trapping and eliminating predators were very creative. There are some pretty brilliant people inventing new ways of doing things, aren't there?

Do you like to create new things? Do you think you might be an inventor one day?

I'm so sorry that predators have become a big problem in New Zealand. We have some species that have become a problem in Canada too and so we are also trying to find ways to reduce the predators that were not originally native to our land. This is a problem that almost every country deals with now.

I hope you're having a good summer time and that you're enjoying learning about the different campaigns and programs that are happening in your beautiful country.

I'll continue to enjoy reading your blog!

    Cheers,

    Leslie
